Worcestershire 2016 overseas player Matt Henry was again amongst the wickets for New Zealand on day three of the second Test versus India in Kolkata.
The Black Caps paceman had returned 3-46 from 20 overs in India's first innings of 316 and again posed a threat in their second innings.
Henry removed opener Murali Vijay, number three Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane to leave him with figures of 3-40 from 13 overs.
He is the first Kiwi fast bowler to take three or more wickets in both innings of a Test in India since Daryl Tuffey in Mohali in 2003-2004.
But India still have the upper hand, having dismissed New Zealand for 204 in their first innings and then reaching 165-6 in their second – a lead so far of 277.
Henry enjoyed a successful spell at New Road with 27 wickets in six Championship matches – an average of four and a half wickets per game which would give him an overall total of 72 if maintained over a full 16 game programme.
He also made several useful late order contributions with the bat.
Worcestershire 2016 NatWest T20 Blast player, Mitchell Santner, is also part of the New Zealand team and he picked up one 1-83 from 23 overs in the first innings and one more when India batted again.
Santer was restricted to one appearance for the Rapids because of a broken finger.
