Tom Fell scored his maiden century for Mount Lawley on day one of the Western Australia Cricket Association first grade match with Midland-Guildford.
The Worcestershire batsman has experienced a challenging winter Down Under after flying out in early December following surgery for testicular cancer.
Fell, Worcestershire's leading run-scorer in the County Championship last summer, had managed 66 runs in seven previous innings.
But he showed his undoubted class in reaching three figures off 156 balls with 10 boundaries.
Fell came to the wicket at 77-2 after Mount Lawley had elected to bat in the two-day fixture.
He added 93 with opening batsman J. Newnham (71) for the third wicket , 68 with D. Sharman (23) and 64 with J. Goodall.
Fell eventually went to three figures out of 285-4 in the 72nd over.
He was finally dismissed for 112 at 302-5 after batting for 236 minutes, facing 163 balls and striking 11 fours.
Goodall continued on from the fine work of Fell by making 97 not out as Mount Lawley closed on 413-7.
