Worcestershire CCC are proud to be staging another prestigious England Women's international match next summer.
England will feature in a Royal London One-Day International against Pakistan at New Road on June 22.
It follows on from the County being the hosts for an ODI between England Women and Australian Women during the 2015 campaign as part of the Ashes Series.
Next season's 50 over contest will be part of three Royal London One-Day Internationals and three NatWest International Twenty20 matches against Pakistan.
Worcestershire chief executive David Leatherdale said: "It is always a great honour when the County is chosen to host an international match and we are delighted to have three such games at New Road this summer.
"The England Women's Ashes match here last year created a lot of interest in the County despite the weather meaning it had to be played on a reserve day and was another indication of women's cricket flourishing, not only generally but in this area.
"I am sure the match against Pakistan will create a similar buzz of excitement and we look forward to the game – in addition to the Worcestershire-Pakistan and Sri Lanka 'A'-Pakistan 'A' games at New Road this summer."
The action will get underway in the Midlands on June 20 at Grace Road and it will be the first time that the ground has hosted international women’s cricket in ten years, after England women last played a drawn Test match against India there in 2006.
After the game at New Road two days later, the third and final Royal London ODI will be played at the County Ground, Taunton, on June 27.
That was the venue when England women memorably beat Australia in the opening match of the Women’s Ashes series earlier this year.
The Royal London ODIs will form England’s fifth round of matches in the ICC Women’s Championship – the qualification tournament for the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup in England.
As per the ICC Playing Conditions for the competition, in the event of the match not being completed on the scheduled date, a reserve date the following day is in place for each of the Royal London ODIs.
The three match NatWest IT20 series will then be played on July 3, 5 and 7 at the Bristol County Ground, the Ageas Bowl and the Essex County Ground.
The second match at the Ageas Bowl will be played immediately before the men’s NatWest IT20 between England and Sri Lanka.
The ECB also confirmed today that Sky Sports and BBC Radio will provide live ball-by-ball television and radio coverage of all six of England women’s encounters against Pakistan in June and July next year.

“This summer we enjoyed record crowd attendances for the Women’s Ashes, and it is fantastic to see more and more people buying tickets year on year to watch the England women’s team play.
"The women’s game continues to expand and reach new audiences and I hope we can maintain this momentum throughout next summer.
"All the venues that will be staging games against Pakistan have the aspiration of reaching new fans and achieving capacity crowds. This is exactly the ambition we need after such a well-supported Ashes summer.”
Next year’s tour by Pakistan will coincide with the launch of the first Women’s Cricket Super League.
This major new development will help to support greater participation and encourage higher levels of performance for the women’s game in England.
The competition will feature six teams and will receive a £3 million investment from the ECB over the next four years.
