Worcestershire CCC are through to the quarter-finals of the ECB Under-15 County Cup.
The County sealed a home clash with Nottinghamshire – to be played at Chester Road, Kidderminster next Wednesday (August 16) – after topping Group 2A in impressive style.
Victory over Warwickshire in their final group game was Worcestershire’s sixth win in eight matches with teams playing each other on a home and away basis.
They finished seven points clear of runners-up Cricket Wales who also through to the last eight.
Quarter-final opponents Nottinghamshire finished runners-up in Group 1A.
In the other ‘A’ Division quarter-final, Cricket Wales will visit Group 1A winners Yorkshire.
The winners of the quarter-finals will progress to the ‘A’ Division semi-final and final which are being staged at Kibworth CC, Leicestershire on August 23 and 24.
