Worcestershire won their opening 2nd XI 40-Over Trophy match against Glamorgan at Cardiff CC by 4 wickets.
Worcestershire put Glamorgan into bat and the home side were all out for 94 off 33.5 overs, with all 5 Worcestershire bowlers in the wickets column.
Alex Hepburn (2-5 off 2 overs), Naqaash Tahir (2-9 off 8 overs), Nick Harrison (2-20 off 8 overs) and Josh Bowker (2-31 off 8 overs) all took 2 wickets, with Phil Harris (1-24 off 7.5 overs) being the fifth wicket-taker.
Worcestershire lost the wicket of Steve Leach in the first ball of the innings and then Michael Johnson blasted 46 off just 22 balls, with 11 fours, before his dismissal, which then triggered a mini collapse from 50-1 to 59-5, with 4 of the 5 wickets taken by the former Worcestershire bowler, Simon Jones (4-18 off 6 overs).
But the visitors eventually won in 18.2 overs, thanks to Hepburn (17*) and Harris (17*), as they finished on 98-6.

CHAMPIONSHIP DAY 1
On the first day of the three-day match at Cardiff CC Glamorgan put Worcestershire into bat and the visitors were all out for 255 off 80.2 overs.
Steve Leach was the top scorer, with 71 off 170 balls, with useful contributions from Joe Clarke (39), George Rhodes (39), Alex Hepburn (34) and Bradley Wadlan (28).
Glamorgan at the close were on 45-2, trailing by 210 runs, off 20.3 overs, with the wickets taken by Rhodes (1-4 off 0.3 overs) and Josh Bowker (1-3 off 5 overs).
Glamorgan, in their first innings, were all out for 229 off 81.4 overs, with Gareth Rees top-scoring with 51. George Rhodes took 4-64 off 16 overs, with the other wickets taken by Naqaash Tahir (3-32 off 19.4 overs), Joe McCluskie (1-19 off 8 overs), Josh Bowker (1-21 off 9 overs) and Brett D'Oliveira (1-38 off 14 overs).
Worcestershire led by 26 runs but then in their second innings were in disarray at 34-8, with a lead of just 60 runs, but 82 runs were added for the last two wickets as the visitors were all out for 116 off 35.2 overs, with Rhodes top-scoring with 44 followed by Tahir with an unbeaten 26.
Glamorgan, requiring 143 runs to win, faced 6 overs before stumps and they ended the day on 17-0, requiring a further 126 runs to win.
Glamorgan defeated Worcestershire by 6 wickets before lunch on the third and final day at Cardiff CC.
Resuming on 17-0 the home side were reduced to 36-2 thanks to Nick Harrison (1-26 off 9 overs) and Naqaash Tahir (1-43 off 11 overs) but Nick James (38) and David Lloyd (35) steadied the ship as Glamorgan edged closer to victory.
Brett D'Oliveira (1-20 off 6.2 overs) accounted for James and Josh Bowker (1-25 off 4 overs) took the wicket of Lloyd but in the end Glamorgan were victorious by 6 wickets as they ended on 143-4 off 32.2 overs.
