The ICC Under-19 World Cup in South Africa is underway today – and Worcestershire CCC supporters will be able to watch batsman Jack Haynes in action.

Matches featuring Haynes and his England Under-19 team-mates will be shown live on Sky Sports as part of their coverage of the tournament.

England’s opening game against the West Indies on Monday (January 20) will be available via the ‘red button’ as it overlaps with the final day of the third Test in South Africa.

But the second match in the group versus Australia on Thursday will be shown live on Sky Sports main event and cricket channels.

It will be a chance for the County’s fans to view one of the club’s exciting young prospects who broke into the senior side at the tail-end of last season.

Two winters ago Blackfinch New Road supporters were able to watch with pride in similar fashion as Dillon Pennington and Adam Finch shared the new ball in the previous Under-19s World Cup in New Zealand

England’s final group game is on January 25 versus Nigeria and the top two go through to the quarter-finals which are being held from January 28 to 31.

All of England’s group games are being staged at Kimberley and get underway at 8am GMT.
