COUNTY DUO DELL AND TWOHIG RETURNING DOWN UNDER TO PLAY GRADE CRICKET

two worcestershire ccc players are set to return down under during the forthcoming winter to play grade cricket.

batsman josh dell and spinner ben twohig are earmarked to play for mosman cc and southern districts respectively.

dell is poised to fly out to sydney to represent mosman who compete in the new south wales premier cricket first grade competition.

the 22-year-old had previously had a spell with western australia cricket association side midland-guildford two years ago.

dell has made his big breakthrough with worcestershire this summer when playing in seven first class matches.

the tenbury wells born player scored 61 on his specsavers county championship debut against durham at New Road.

he signed a contract extension in august until the end of the 2021 season.

twohig is gearing up for a second spell with southern districts. he previously played for them last winter for a two month spell early in the new year.

the 21-year-old has missed the entire 2019 season with an anterior cruciate ligament tear after playing seven championship games in 2018.

he has been back bowling recently and will continue his comeback in australia in readiness for the 2020 campaign at New Road.

twohig extended his contract last october until the end of next season.
