DOUBLE WHITE BALL SETBACK FOR COUNTY BATSMAN DELL AND TEAM-MATES

Worcestershire CCC batsman Josh Dell’s side – Mosman CC – suffered a double white ball setback during the weekend fixtures.

They went down by eight wickets to Blacktown Mounties in a New South Wales Premier Cricket second grade encounter and then seven wickets today to Manly Warringah in the Kingsgrove Sports Twenty20 Cup.

Dell opened the innings against Blacktown in a 50 over contest and made 15 off 33 balls before he was second out with the total on 31.

Mosman were bowled out for 137 in 43.1 overs after being put into bat and their opponents reached their target in only 25.1 overs.

Dell, who played seven first class matches for the County in 2019, again went in first against Manly Warringah.

He was third out for seven off 11 balls with the total on 35 before 53 from Matt Calder lifted the final Mosman total to 134-8.

But their opponents, with the aid of an unbeaten 59 from opener Logan Wogan, triumphed with 15 balls to spare.
