FESTIVE BREAK DOWN UNDER FOR COUNTY TRIO

Worcestershire’s trio of players in Australia this winter will take a break for the festive season before resuming the action early in the New Year.

Josh Dell’s side, Mosman CC, will return to the middle on January 11 for a New South Wales Premier Cricket 50 over encounter against visiting St. George.

They are currently lying in 14th spot in the 20 team first grade table with three wins and five defeats from their opening eight games.

Dell has scored 394 runs in 13 innings across all formats at an average of 32.83 with three half centuries.

Ben Cox and Ben Twohig will have the focus on South Australia Cricket Association T20 cricket with Southern Districts.

They will have just the one weekend off before back to back matches against West Torrens (home) and Woodville (away) on January 4 and 5 respectively.

These will be followed by encounters on January 10 with East Torrens (home) and four days later versus Adelaide University.

Southern Districts are lying joint fifth with EIGHT other teams on 15 points.
