Alex Milton completed his first Championship century for Worcestershire Seconds in the drawn encounter with their Leicestershire counterparts at Rugby School.
The wicket-keeper batsman went to three figures off 191 balls with 15 boundaries as Worcestershire totalled 459 before they were bowled out mid-way through the final afternoon.
Milton was finally dismissed for 108 – caught at first slip off Ateeq Javid – to the final ball before lunch.
It was Milton’s second three figure score for the Seconds, his previous hundred coming in a four-day friendly with Middlesex at Radlett at the end of the 2014 season.
He is now available for the rest of the summer with the Seconds after completing his commitments at Cardiff MCCU where he is skipper of the first team.
Milton shared in a fifth wicket stand of 131 with Ben Twohig (56) who continued the good form he had shown in helping Worcestershire earn a draw in the Specsavers County Championship match with Nottinghamshire at Trent Bridge.
He hit a six and three fours in reaching his half century off 86 balls.
Javid ended with 5-95 from 43 overs to follow his first innings ton as Worcestershire gained a first innings lead of 66.
Leicestershire were left with a maximum of 49 overs to bat and slow left armer Nick Oxley picked up three wickets.
He ended with 3-56 from 14 overs as Leicestershire reached 121-4 from 35 overs before the two teams shook hands.
Worcestershire collected 11 points from the game – two for bowling, four for batting and five for a share of the spoils.
