Worcestershire Rapids home NatWest T20 Blast clash with Nottinghamshire Outlaws this evening was the subject of a delayed start.
Umpires Nick Cook and Paul Baldwin will make a further inspection at New Road at 6pm.
Heavy rain during the morning and the early afternoon prevented play from getting underway at the 5.30 start time.
But the forecast was more encouraging for the evening and the players were able to start practicing in bright sunshine.
