vitality blast games at New Road staged in the evenings have traditionally got underway in recent seasons at 5.30pm. however now we are into august, and with daylight starting to fade that little bit earlier, play will get underway at 4.30pm.
this will come into effect for the first time tomorrow (friday) when the rapids – joint leaders of the north group – will play host to third placed durham jets at New Road.
supporters will also able to see new overseas signing, wayne parnell, in action for the rapids for the first time.
the 4.30pm start time will also apply next thursday – august 9 – when the rapids do battle with derbyshire falcons at New Road.
come along and cheer on moeen ali, callum ferguson, joe clarke, brett d’oliveira and the rest of the rapids as they bid to reach the quarter-finals!
