Worcestershire Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 13 strong squad for tomorrow's Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Lancashire Lightning at New Road.
Rhodes has added Gareth Andrew and Charlie Morris to the players originally selected for the One-Day Cup setback against Yorkshire Vikings at Headingley yesterday.
Andrew has been captaining the Second Eleven, for whom he scored 160 against Warwickshire this week, and is available to play purely as a batsman as he continues his rehabilitation from a back problem.
Morris was not included for the encounter with the Vikings as Rhodes continued his policy of rotating the county's seamers during a hectic part of the season.
Worcestershire now face four One-Day Cup matches in the next six days against Lancashire (Saturday) Hampshire away (Monday), Gloucestershire home (Wednesday) and Leicestershire away (Thursday).
They then go straight into an LV = County Championship clash with Gloucestershire at New Road next Friday.
It means there is little practice time for Rhodes with his squad but is something the former England wicket-keeper is accustomed to from his own experiences as a player.
Rhodes said: "We move on from the Yorkshire game and we know what's ahead of us. As with the Yorkshire game, we will approach Saturday in the right frame of mind and do our proper preparation and planning for the game.
"It's not easy and we are in playing mode at the moment. I remember as a player myself we had very few practice days.
"Because we tended to play so much cricket, your practice was done on the morning of the game or out in the middle. Maybe it's just the same at the moment."
Rhodes will check on the fitness of Tom Kohler-Cadmore who is having an x-ray today to determine the extent of the finger injury sustained at Headingley which meant 12th man Brett D'Oliveira fielded for the majority of the Yorkshire innings.
