Association Summer Lunch Close To Being A Sell-Out

Association Summer Lunch Close To Being A Sell-Out

Worcestershire Supporters' Association's annual summer lunch is close to being a sell-out.

Only a few tickets are remaining for the August 6 luncheon in the Marquee – the opening day of the Specsavers County Championship match with Sussex.

Tickets cost £25 for Association members and £27.50 for non members and the closing date for applications to be accepted is next Wednesday (July 26).

Association chairman Andrew Jenkins said: "These lunches are always popular and already nearly 150 people have booked and there are not many places left."

Application forms can be downloaded via the Worcestershire CCC website or collected from the Supporters' Association Shop at the back of the Basil D'Oliveira Stand on matchdays.

The Association have taken out a table at the Worcestershire CCC annual memorabilia market in the Marquee on Bank Holiday Monday, August 28.

It is intended to auction off the memorabilia so generously left to the Association by their long-serving chairman Ken Mills who sadly passed away last summer.

Tickets for the Association's Super Raffle, priced £5 each, are still available in a competition which is the brainchild of committee member Dave Kennedy.

They can also be purchased from the Association shop on match days with a prize up for grabs of a 2018 Worcestershire CCC club membership, two tickets for the 2018 Chairman's Lunch and the chance to have a photo taken with the 2018 Worcestershire CCC squad on media day.
