Blackfinch Investments Tie-Up With County Already Paying Dividends

Blackfinch Investments Tie-Up With County Already Paying Dividends

Blackfinch Investments – a leading provider of tax efficient investment solutions – are delighted with the working relationship already forged with Worcestershire County Cricket Club after becoming the County’s official main sponsor for 2017.

The firm, based in Chequers Close, Malvern, have further cemented a partnership which last season saw them as Worcestershire’s official shirt sleeve sponsor across all formats.

The link-up has helped to raise the profile of the company locally and – through live television exposure including the Royal London One-Cup semi-final – nationally.

But Blackfinch are also making full use of the partnership in holding company sales and marketing team meetings at New Road as well as entertaining business clients via the corporate hospitality on matchdays.

And business networking at New Road has led to a link up with Worcestershire’s official creative design partner, We Are Beard, who are building Blackfinch’s new website.

There is an option to extend the Blackfinch sponsorship with Worcestershire CCC for a further two years in 2018 and 2019.

Blacfinch CEO Richard Cook has supported the County for more than 25 years and, along with Blackfinch Chief Investment Officer and fellow cricket fan Richard Simmonds, is a member of the MCC.

He has been Blackfinch Chief Executive Officer since 2009 overseeing the growth and expansion of the company within the UK retail market.

Mr Cook said: “We are delighted with how the partnership with Worcestershire is developing-flourishing. It is a really good partnership and Worcestershire are really easy to deal with.

“It is helping to build our brand and name in the local business community.

“We have been getting plenty of national as well as publicity. Getting into the semi-finals of the Royal London One-Day Cup was great, a bit of additional TV coverage, plus several T20 Blast games.

“I particularly like the way the shirt looks and I’ve had some independent financial advisors who have got in touch with us because they have seen the Blackfinch name at the cricket.”
