Joe Clarke and Ed Barnard, who have both signed new three years contracts during the past fortnight, finished as Worcestershire's leading run-scorer and wicket-taker respectively in the Royal London One-Day Cup.

Clarke, 19, amassed 242 runs from five innings at an average of 80.66 with three 50 plus scores including 131 not out against Gloucestershire at New Road.

Tom Fell, who was the County's highest scorer in the 2014 RLC, was next best with 215 runs at an average of 35.89.

Barnard, who is also 19, maintained his record of playing in every white ball match for Worcestershire this summer and finished with 12 RLC wickets from seven games.

Another youngster in Alex Hepburn, who has signed a one year contract extension, topped the bowling averages with six wickets at 13 runs apiece from his two appearances.

Worcestershire won only one of their seven completed matches in the RLC but the performances and experiences of the likes of Clarke, Barnard and Hepburn will only stand them in good stead for future battles ahead.
