Joe Clarke and Joe Leach can reflect on a season to remember for Worcestershire with the bat and ball respectively in the Specsavers County Championship.
Clarke finished as leading run-scorer in his first full season of senior cricket with 1,206 runs at an average of 48.24.
The 20-year-old scored five centuries in the competition and was only denied a sixth by a wonder catch when on 98 against Glamorgan at New Road.
Skipper Daryl Mitchell was the next highest run scorer with 873 after a much improved second half of the campaign from the County's 2016 beneficiary.
But there were also sizeable contributions in the lower order from keeper Ben Cox and Leach.
Leach finished as the County's leading wicket-taker for the second successive season in the Championship, following up his 59 victims in 2015 with another 65.
He was also the top Division Two wicket-taker in the entire competition.
As with Clarke, it was also the first time that Leach had completed a full season, having not been part of the side for the opening four matches of 2014 and the first two of 2015.
Ed Barnard demonstrated signs of his continuing potential with 31 wickets while New Zealand paceman Matt Henry returned 27 from his six appearances.
