Worcestershire are anticipating bigger attendances at New Road based on past evidence when they mark their 150th anniversary season by playing in Division One of the LV = County Championship.
Local rivals Warwickshire and well supported clubs such as champions Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire will be amongst the attractive opposition who will be visiting New Road in 2015.
And having the new Premier Inn literally on the doorstep will be another factor in encouraging away fans to travel next summer.
Worcestershire chief executive David Leatherdale said: "We've got Warwickshire coming for a start.
"Three or four years ago when we played Warwickshire at Easter time and had lovely weather, it was our biggest four-day take for a long time.
"The teams you are going to play against, your Durhams, Yorkshires, Nottinghamshires, their fans travel to watch four-day cricket and everyone likes coming to Worcester.
"There is no doubt now with a new hotel now on the doorstep, hopefully more will travel but we are well supported in four-day cricket.
"We proved that this season against Surrey in September, when the weather was nice, and we had a couple of thousand people in every day.
"We will do everything we can to get as many people in. We love four-day cricket, we love one-day cricket.
"We've got a good strong memebership and we will make sure we build on that over the winter."
