worcestershire ceo matt rawnsley will hold the latest of his members’ forums on day one of the specsavers county championship match with somerset at New Road.
rawnsley will address members and answer questions in the hick pavilion before the start of play on sunday july 22.
the former worcestershire spinner introduced the forum – on the first morning of home championship games – after taking over as ceo on march 1 and they have proved to be a great success.
members have welcomed the opportunity to speak to rawnsley on such a regular basis and have asked and received full answers to a wide range of topics.
he has so far addressed them before the start of play on day one of the games with nottinghamshire, essex and lancashire.
matt rawnsley said: “it has been great to interact with the members at these forums and i have tried to answer as openly and as comprehensively as possible.
“i said when i took over as ceo that i would listen to what the members have to say – even if i don’t always agree – and it is beneficial to hear their views.
“other ceo commitments permitting, i intend to continue with these forums right through to the end of the season.”
the members forum on day one of the somerset game will again get underway at 9.30am.
