County Duo Fell And Rhodes Ending Spell Down Under

County Duo Fell And Rhodes Ending Spell Down Under

Worcestershire duo Tom Fell and George Rhodes will end their current spells of Australian grade cricket this weekend.

Fell will be looking to finish on a high note with Mount Lawley after his side piled up the runs on day one of the Western Australia Cricket Association first grade clash with Midland-Guildford at Breckler Park.

He scored his maiden century for the club – 112 off 163 balls with 11 fours – as Mount Lawley amassed 413-7.

Victory would help Mount Lawley to improve on their current position of third from bottom in the 16 team table.

Rhodes' side, North Canberra Gungahlin, visit Eastlake for a ACT Premier Cricket first grade match at the Kingston Oval.

The Northies are already assured of a place in the semi-finals and are currently lying in third spot.

Fell and Rhodes will fly back home after Saturday's action to prepare for Worcestershire's pre-season tour of Abu Dhabi.

Alex Hepburn and Tom Kohler-Cadmore have already completed their stints Down Under with Willetton Dragons and Penrith Panthers respectively.
