worcestershire ccc has expanded the already wide range of merchandise available to purchase from its online shop to include a substantial selection of cricket equipment for those followers of the county who also play the game.
members and supporters have already been snapping up items such as replica shirts, t-shirts, polo shirts, shorts and hoodies for the championship and rapids teams – supplied by the county’s kit provider and partner gray-nicolls – and now have more options as an excellent choice of pads, boots, gloves, training gear and cricket bags are on offer, which has already generated a positive response.
sales executive paul biggerstaff said: “sales have been healthy especially with the outstanding success of the rapids in the royal london one-day cup and vitality blast competitions.
“the quality of the gray-nicolls merchandise is excellent and been commented on by those who have purchased it so now we are delighted to expand the range to include cricket equipment for those worcestershire supporters who play themselves.
“the club’s online retail presence is much improved and perfectly complements the new supporters association club shop at New Road which has seen far greater volume of footfall since being relocated between the graeme hick pavilion and foley’s.”
