County Extend Number Of Elite Lounge Packages For 2017 Season

County Extend Number Of Elite Lounge Packages For 2017 Season

Worcestershire CCC have extended the number of packages on offer to anyone who wants to take out a 2017 membership in the Elite Louge in The View.

A Club Elite membership will cost £400 and entitles a holder to watch all cricket except the NatWest T20 Blast from this magnificent setting which offers not only great views of the cricket but also the Cathedral and the Malvern Hills.

Once again there will also be a Premium Elite membership which allows a member to view all cricket from an allocated seat on the balcony for £600.

But next summer there will be an additional Premier Elite Unallocated membership which includes all the benefits of a Premium Elite membership other than an allocated seat on the balcony for a cost of £550.

Managing Director Jon Graham said: "With the elite members area, I don't think there is a better place to watch cricket.

"As a cricket fan myself, I can say it is an absolute joy to be able to watch the games from up there.

"For next year, we have extended the categories a little bit. Historically, we've had a Premium Elite product which is an allocated seat, for all cricket, and that is always pretty much sold out.

"Last year, we also had a Club Elite membership which excluded T20.

"A lot of our members within that space haven't necessarily got the time to come and watch four-day cricket and will watch T20.

"So, for a County Championship game, there is always capacity there which is why we introduced the Club Elite package.

"Then on top of that with the majority of T20s, not everyone can make it so we are putting together another package where people can take out a membership to the View where they can watch all cricket – but won't get an allocated seat.

"I would say there are only two games when we are full to capacity, including Birmingham Bears, but even then a lot of members like to sit on the balcony area, not necessarily sit in their seats. There is capacity there.

"Now we are three years into The View being open and that membership area available, we've got experience of how people watch their cricket, how many come to cricket and these packages cater for all areas."
