Ben Cox is heading back to Blackfinch New Road after finishing in second spot in the batting averages for Otago Volts in the Super Smash.
The Worcestershire CCC wicket-keeper-batsman totalled 151 runs from his seven knocks, two of which were undefeated, at an average of 30.20 in the T20 competition.
His top score of 49 came against Canterbury at Christchurch before finishing the competition with 32 not out versus Northern Districts in Mount Maunganui.
Cox also came joint third in the list for the highest tally of dismissals by a wicket-keeper during the group stages.
Four of the 27-year-old’s six catches came in his opening game in the competition against host side Wellington.
Otago failed to qualify for the knockout phase of the tournament.
Cox will need just 19 more runs to reach the 4,000 mark in first class cricket when the new campaign gets underway.
He clocked up his 100th first class appearance in the penultimate Specsavers County Championship match of last season versus Essex at Chelmsford.
