Worcestershire wicket-keepers Ben Cox and Joe Clarke both scored half centuries as Greenvale Kangaroos and South Perth enjoyed success on the second day of their respective matches in Australia.
Cox hit 54 as the Kangaroos secured first innings points from their Victorian Premier Cricket Bartercard Men's Premier Firsts encounter with visiting Footscray Edgewater.
It was the fifth half century of the winter for Cox who tops the Kangaroos batting averages with 450 runs in one and two day matches at an average of 45.
In all competitions he has scored 515 runs at an average of 39.62 and is the Kangaroos leading run-getter.
Greenvale reached 327-8 in their first innings after bowling out Edgewater on the opening day last weekend for 188.
Cox came in at 180-3 and was seventh out at 274.
Clarke maintained his equally impressive form for South Perth with 52 in the Western Australian Cricket Association first grade clash with visiting University.
He resumed on 26 not out and completed his sixth half century of the winter for the senior side.
Clarke hit seven fours in his 115 ball knock and featured in a second wicket stand of 120 with opener C. Ryan.
The England Under-19 player was second out at 154 and South Perth lost several quick wickets in making 230-9 declared but secured first innings points after bowling out University for 153 on the opening day.
University provided stiffer resistance in their second innings and closed on 185-3.
