County Launching Foley’s ‘fish & Chip Frydays’ This Week

The County have received nothing but positive feedback from many customers since Foley’s was launched 10 months ago.

Now ‘Fish & Chip Frydays’ – incorporating the best fish and chips that money can buy – will become part of the wide and varied menu each Friday from this week (February 2).

Late night Friday opening, Sunday lunches and steak nights are also projects under consideration for the forthcoming months.

Worcestershire CCC’s Managing Director Jon Graham said: “Foley’s opened last April and the feedback we have received has been absolutely fantastic from the people who have been in.

“The whole project was done the right way from start to finish and now we just want to tweak what we do.

“We changed the menu a few months ago to introduce more of a lunch-time menu because we extended the opening hours.

“Now we are launching a Fish & Chip Frydays and, in keeping with everything we do at Foley’s, it will be the best fish, the best chips, priced right, providing really good value for money.”

Graham revealed potential plans for the months ahead with Foley’s.

He said: “We will be doing other things as well.

“Initially, it was built for the members – and non members – on match-days but as important, is the fact it is open all year so people can use it whenever they want.

“The results are really pleasing, the feedback across the board has always been positive. You hear a lot of people going to Foley’s saying ‘I can’t believe how busy it was’.

“Has it been a pleasing start? Yes 100 per cent.

“”In the summer we will probably look to extend opening hours on a Friday night because there is no better venue if you come home from work and you want a drink and a light bite to eat.

“”We will potentially look at doing Sunday lunches and maybe some steak nights.

“We always ask for feedback and one of the reasons we are doing ‘Fish & Chip Frydays’ is that it is one of the things that people are looking for.”
