County Name 12 Man Squad For Finale Of 2015 Campaign

Worcestershire Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 12 man squad for the final LV = County Championship match of the season against Middlesex at New Road starting tomorrow.

Rhodes has kept faith with the 11 players who pushed Durham all the way at the ICG Emiratres before going down by three wickets – plus paceman Charlie Morris.

West Indies fast bowler Shannon Gabriel is in contention to make his home debut in the second match of his short spell with the County.

Batsman Alex Gidman is ruled out with the broken finger suffered in fielding practice on the day before the Durham encounter.

Worcestershire will be looking to chalk up their third home victory of the campaign, the previous two against Somerset and Hampshire both resulting in innings wins.

Tom Fell needs 87 more runs to reach 1,000 in the LV = CC for the season and Morris six more wickets to reach the 50 mark for the second season running.

Worcestershire had the better of a drawn game with Middlesex on a flat pitch at Uxbridge earlier in the campaign.

A reminder that play on all four days will get underway at 10.30am.
