County Name 12 Strong Squad For Festival Clash

Worcestershire have selected a 12 man squad for the Specsavers County Championship encounter with local rivals Gloucestershire at Cheltenham tomorrow.

Director Of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named the 11 players who started the rain-hit draw against Durham at The Emirates minus Moeen Ali plus Tom Fell and Jack Shantry.

Fell replaced Joe Clarke for the final two days of the game after he joined up with the England Lions although the former Oakham School pupil did not taste any action as play was washed out.

He scored a century this week for the Seconds in an excellent seven wicket win over Leicestershire at RGS Worcester after signing a new two year contract.

Josh Tongue will be looking to build on the form which has brought him 30 Championship wickets after signing a new four year deal.

Rhodes said: "We are looking forward to Cheltenham. We've had some really good memories down there, certainly during my involvement with Worcestershire.

"We are looking to keeping that going."
