County Name 12 Strong Squad For Grace Road Visit – And Possible Reunion With Jones

Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes has named a 12 man squad for leaders Worcestershire's LV = County Championship clash with Leicestershire at Grace Road which starts tomorrow (11am).

Batsman Tom Kohler-Cadmore has been added to the 11 players on duty in the hard fought Division Two draw with fellow top two side Hampshire at New Road.

Worcestershire made up a four point margin and moved back level on points with Hampshire after collecting 12 points to their opponents eight.

But they actually top the table after having the better of the two meetings with Hampshire by an aggregate points margin of 24-17.

The competition has reached the half-way stage with Worcestershire unbeaten in their opening eight games and gaining home victories over Kent, Derbyshire and Essex.

Their four away games with Hampshire, Glamorgan, Kent and Surrey have all been badly affected by the weather when Worcestershire have been on top.

Worcestershire will be making their second trip of the season to Grace Road, having beaten Leicestershire in a NatWest T20 Blast clash eight days ago.

They could face one of their former players tomorrow as paceman Richard Jones has joined Leicestershire on a month's loan from Warwickshire.

Jones returned a career best T20 performance of 5-34 for the Foxes in last night's clash with Lancashire Lightning.

He has been signed by Leicestershire who have injuries to Charlie Shreck, Nathan Buck, Ollie Freckingham and Alex Wyatt.

Worcestershire (from): Mitchell (captain), Pardoe, Fell, Kervezee, Whiteley, Cox, Leach, Choudhry, Shantry, Ajmal, Morris, Kohler-Cadmore.
