Worcestershire will hope for better fortunes with the weather in Wednesday's Royal London One-Day Cup clash with Gloucestershire at New Road.
Rain washed out this evening's 50 over meeting with Hampshire at the Ageas Bowl after just 4.1 overs of the home side's innings.
The point secured from the wash-out moved fifth placed Worcestershire onto six points from their six games.
Play had been scheduled to start at 2pm but heavy bouts of rain meant it did not get underway until 7.15pm.
It was then scheduled to be a 17 overs a side contest after Worcestershire skipper Daryl Mitchell won the toss and put Hampshire into bat.
Hampshire made an encouraging start to their innings and reached 42-0 with Michael Carberry hitting 30 off just 17 balls.
His tally included sixes off Jack Shantry over backward square leg and Charlie Morris over mid wicket in addition to four boundaries.
Hampshire reached 36-0 in the reduced powerplay of three overs before spinner Shaaiq Choudhry conceded just five runs in the fourth over.
But there was only time for Joe Leach to concede a single off his only delivery before the heavens opened again and led to the game quickly being abandoned.
Worcestershire Director Of Cricket Steve Rhodes had made two changes for the reduced overs contest with fit again Tom Kohler-Cadmore (finger) and Choudhry (illness) replacing Richard Oliver and Tom Fell.
