Three Worcestershire players suffered the frustration of wash-outs on the opening day of two-day fixtures in Australia.
Joe Leach, Richard Oliver and Ed Barnard were all left kicking their heels because of the elements.
Leach had been looking to continue his fine all-round form for North Canberra Gungahlin against visiting Eastlake in a Australian Capital Territory first grade fixture.
He tops the bowling averages with 17 wickets in seven games and is also averaging 31.43 with the bat after scoring 220 runs.
Geelong City skipper Oliver was geared up for a crucial second versus third encounter with visiting North Geelong in Division One of the Geelong Cricket Association before rain intervened.
He has also been in sparkling form with 361 runs in six knocks at an average of 60.17 with one century and three other 50 plus scores to top the batting averages.
England Under-19 all-rounder Ed Barnard's side, Queanbeyan District, were also a victim of the elements in their Australian Capital Territory first grade encounter away to ANU.
Barnard leads the bowling averages and his 11 victims have cost him 22.45 runs apiece.
The county trio will be hoping for better luck when the three games are scheduled to resume on Saturday December 13.
