Worcestershire Under-13s produced an excellent performance to win the annual West Cricket Festival held at Taunton.
The Under-13s bounced back from losing their first game to Lancashire to win the next four matches and top their group in the round-robin tournament.
They had previously triumphed in the festival four years ago when the current Worcestershire Under-17s had come out on top.
The Under-13s are coached by John Huband and Keith Mitchell who is the father of Worcestershire CCC captain Daryl Mitchell.
Worcestershire Academy Coach Elliot Wilson said: "We have been sending age group teams down to the festival for probably the last 10 years.
"Good sides go down there like your Durhams, Yorkshires, Lancashires, Kents, Hampshires, Surreys so it is good strong cricket and a week of cricket for 11, 12 and 13 year-olds.
"We won it four years ago when the current Under-17s, the Nick Hammonds, Josh Dells, that age group went down and won it.
"Now our Under-13s have gone and won it this year which is really exciting.
"They've had a really good week down there and gone and performed really well with bat and ball and credit again not just to what we are doing at the Academy end of the programme but further down the pathway.
"Dan Holland had an exceptional week and he starts at Malvern College this September. He made a contribution every day and scored over 200 runs during the week so he did well."
Worcestershire lost their opening game against Lancashire by three wickets.
Holland (39) and Charlie Francis (27 not out) were the main contributors to their 147 all out and then Hassan Akram (2-22) and Holland (2-16) were amongst the wickets before Lancashire won with 11.2 overs to spare (Lancashire 18 points, Worcestershire 4 points).
From then on it was success all the way for Worcestershire and they gained their first win via a 43 run success against Devon.
Holland (58) and Akram (32) helped Worcestershire reach 181-8 in 50 overs and Devon were bowled out for 138 with Henry Marshall (3-14), Fergus Roll (2-18), Akram (2-35) and Nicholas Jakobsen (2-26) the wicket-takers (Worcestershire 18 points, Devon 4 points).
An unbeaten 68 from Roll was instrumental in Worcestershire defeating Surrey by seven wickets.
Surrey were dismissed for 175, Oliver Tsiquaye (2-12) and Marshall (2-14) amongst the wickets and then Roll played a lead role in Worcestershire sealing victory with 11.3 overs remaining (Worcestershire 18 points, Surrey 5 points).
Worcestershire's third win came against Cumbria, a resounding nine wicket success.
Marshall (3-13) and Jakobsen (2-23) sparkled with the ball as Cumbria were bowled out for 128 and then Roll (40 not out), Holland (33 not out) and Hayden Evans (27) hurried Worcestershire to victory in 25.3 overs (Worcestershire 18 points, Cumbria 2 points).
Success in the tournament was sealed in the final match against Hampshire when Akram produced a superb bowling performance.
He finished with 5-24 as Hampshire were skittled for 76. Hassan's new ball partner Elliott Mason (3-11) and Marshall (2-11) were also impressive.
Holland (30 not out) and Ed Bragg (25 not out) saw Worcestershire home with 29.5 overs in hand (Worcestershire 16 points, Hampshire 0 points).
