Worcestershire are winding up their tour of Abu Dhabi today (Monday) with a 50 over match against Derbyshire at the Zayed Stadium.

It is the third year in a row that the two sides have met in the UAE as part of their pre-season preparations.

After early tour weather setbacks, Director of Cricket Steve Rhodes's side are in action for the fourth successive day.

They will be looking to continue the ecouraging match practice shown on day two of the match against Warwickshire yesterday.

Ross Whiteley and Ben Cox scored half centuries and then the attack claimed five wickets in the final session against a revamped batting order.

The Worcestershire squad will fly back to Heathrow in the early hours of tomorrow morning and after a short break will begin practicing from next Monday at Kidderminster's Chester Road ground.

They will have seven days cricket in this country ahead of the opening County Championship match with Kent at New Road beginning on April 10.

Worcestershire will take on Somerset in a two day friendly at Taunton on March 28-29 and then face Oxford MCCU in a three-day first class fixture at The Parks from March 31 to April 2.

A two day match against Warwickshire at Edgbaston on April 5-6 will be the finale to their pre-season schedule.
