Ben Cox has become the third Worcestershire player to top the 500 run mark in the LV = County Championship this season.
The county's wicket-keeper reached that milestone with his half-century during the eight wicket win over Gloucestershire at Cheltenham three weeks ago.
Cox has produced several telling contributions with the bat at either six or seven in the batting order this season.
He registered his maiden Championship century in the drawn home game with Hampshire.
His wicket-keeping has also improved significantly as he has pitted his wits against the guile of spin star Saeed Ajmal and now has a different challenge via the raw pace and aggression of Mitchell McClenaghan.
Skipper Daryl Mitchell has moved past the 1200 run mark after carrying his bat for a magnificent 167 at Cheltenham – his fifth century of the campaign.
On the bowling front the ever reliable Jack Shantry has reached the 40 wicket mark with the aid of another six victims against Gloucestershire – one more than Charlie Morris.
