Ben Cox is back working at full throttle on his wicket-keeping drills and "looking as good as ever" following his shoulder operation earlier in the winter.
The Worcestershire player is being put through his paces with the rest of his team-mates at Malvern College ahead of the pre-season trip to Abu Dhabi next month.
Cox underwent surgery in mid October and impressed first team physio Ben Davies with his work ethic and rapid recovery.
Davies said: "He is absolutely fine. Coxy is taking part in all of his keeping drills. He has done really well.
"It's just a case of building his confidence now so it's a lot of mat work and diving at the minute just to try and get his confidence up with that aspect of keeping.
"If you have any operation on any joint in your body, you need to build up confidence around the area.
"The one thing that would probably be difficult to do is dive when you've had an operation on your shoulder. Psycologically you've got to have the confidence in that shoulder to take a dive.
"He has been doing loads of practice on the mat up at Malvern and he looks as good as ever."
Davies added: "Ben works really hard. He has done really well and is a pleasure to work with.
"He got back to doing things after six weeks that we probably expect after 12 so he has halved his rehab time.
"The plan is to reintroduce Ben to throwing this week, which will start with remedial drills building up to full intensity throwing by the time we get to Abu Dhabi."
Paceman Charlie Morris has also recovered from the quad strain which meant he missed the final two matches of the MCC's tour of South Africa in early January.
Davies said: "Charlie picked up a small quad strain while he was away in South Africa. Nothing too major, bowling and quite a heavy workload in a short amount of time in that heat when potentially he was a bit dehydrated.
"But within a week of being back here, he was taking part in everything again. He is absolutely fine."
