One of the showpieces of former Worcestershire paceman Jack Shantry’s Testimonial Year will take place on October 17 with former England batsman David Gower the guest speaker for a dinner in the famous Long Room at Lord’s.
The evening will be hosted by popular BBC Hereford-Worcester cricket and rugby commentator Dave Bradley with other guest speakers to be confirmed.
There will be a drinks reception and three course meal plus an auction and raffle in aid of Jack’s Testimonial Year.
The cost of a single ticket for this superb black tie evening is £220 with a table for ten available for £2000.

Jack announced his retirement mid-way through last season because of injury but he hopes to remain involved in the game.
He took his first steps towards becoming an umpire last summer and also has done some radio commentary and punditry.
