A reminder that Worcestershire CCC have extended by almost two weeks the dead-line which allows current and new members to purchase their tickets for the club's 150th Anniversary Year at a discount rate.

Supporters now have up until February 12 – exactly two months before the opening home game with Yorkshire on April 12 in the LV = County Championship – to renew or take out their membership at special prices.

It has been extended from the original dead-line of today (January 31).

Already 100 new memberships have been taken out for the 2015 campaign.

And the good news is members can enjoy the entire season for just £204 if purchased by Direct Debit by February 12 – and that works out at just £4.34 per day for the 47 days of first team cricket on offer.

At £204, premium membership is now cheaper than it was for the 2014 season if it was purchased from February onwards!

With new and top grade facilities including The View, Division One Championship cricket, quality new signings like Alex Gidman, attractive fixtures including New Zealand and Warwickshire, and a special programme of events being planned to celebrate the 150th Anniversary season, is there a better time to be a Worcestershire CCC member?

Membership and Ticketing Manager Amy Francetti said: "The membership dead-line is being extended until February 12 to tie with the fact it will then be exactly two months until the start of the 2015 season (April 12).

"It will give members a little bit more time to renew at the discounted rates before the prices go up by £20.

"We've had a great response so far, a lot of new members coming on board, on the back of last year's success and with it being the club's 150th Anniversary Year.

"The signs at this early stage are very promising.

"January is probably one of our busier months because of the dead-line but to reward members, and to hopefully persuade some more to come on board at the discounted rate, we have extended the dead-line.

"There is only two months to go to the new season and we are all well and truly counting down and you can sense the excitement is building up."
