Worcestershire CCC will be staging two home LV = County Championship matches during September – and with them will come an earlier start time.
The games with Sussex and Middlesex at New Road will get underway at 10.30am instead of the accustomed 11am start.
A reminder that as a result the Members Meeting being held in the 1865 Lounge on September 3 – day three of the Sussex game – will therefore get underway at 12.30pm – the start time of the lunch interval.
All Championship matches next month will start at 10.30am and are scheduled to finish at 5.30pm if overs are bowled at the required rate.
This is to try to ensure play is completed before the fading light which inevitably can come into play as the season draws towards a close.
