There is just one week to go before Worcestershire CCC's fixtures for their 150th anniversary season in 2015 will be made public.
The full fixture list for next season, barring any late change to the schedule, will be released on Thursday, November 27.
It will be the first chance for supporters to find out who will be our opposition in the first season back in Division One of the LV = County Championship.
The first home game of the campaign is always eagerly anticipated but especially so now that Worcestershire are back amongst the elite and in a landmark year in their history.
The NatWest T20 Blast and Royal London One-Day Cup dates will also be announced at the same time.
Worcestershire commercial director Jon Graham, a life-long fan of the club, said: "As a supporter, you always look forward to the fixtures for the new season with a sense of excitement.
"What isn't there to be excited about? There isn't a bad game. They are all very tough games but the likes of Yorkshire, Somerset, Warwickshire for different reasons – champions, local rivals and counties who bring a strong following….we can't wait.
"But I guess it will be extra special this year with the club being back in Division One, after the tremendous achievements of last season, and with it also being the 150th anniversary year for Worcestershire.
"And, based on the last time we were in Division One, we get a significant increase in the amount of people who come and watch us.
"In 2011 after we last came up, there was a glorious spring and fantastic crowds when we played Yorkshire and Warwickshire.
"If we've got all our ducks in a row, weather set fair, possibly a Yorkshire or a Warwickshire coming, and we are playing decent cricket, there is no reason why we can't get 3-3,500 for an LV game on day one on a Sunday.
"The Surrey game last season is testament to what we can achieve. We expect probably to be busier than that.
"The Sundays last season were noticeably busier. I think it is great for the members. If the weather is good, then you get a lot of walk-up."
Graham added; "I'm sure fans will also be awaiting the T20 Blast fixtures with interest after the way the team performed to reach the quarter-finals last season.
"The T20 Blast will start again in May. It is looking likely we will have our first T20 towards the end of May because we've got New Zealand when T20 starts which is in the middle part of the month.
"We look forward to those Friday nights. They were really special. We did a lot of really good things with T20 last year and we will look to build on that."
Graham knows the importance of putting the fixtures into the public domain and ensuring members and supporters know exactly when the county will be in action and on what day or evening of the week.
He said: "The ECB did some research a couple of years ago about cricket in general and people said they don't know when the games are on.
"We've got to be absolutely on the button as to making sure people know when the first game of the season is and then every game after that.
"It won't be for the want of getting the message out there.
"Then when we get into the school holidays, we will try and really focus on the families that follow the club."
