Fell Again On Winning Side As Mount Lawley Triumph By Four Wickets

Tom Fell helped Mount Lawley to another victory – a four wicket success over visiting Rockingham-Mandurah in the Western Australia Cricket Association first grade competition.

The Worcestershire batsman scored 27 off 46 balls as Mount Lawley chased down a 145 target with 18.2 overs to spare.

It followed on from their three run success over South Perth on Sunday.

Rockingham were bowled out for 144 in 44.4 overs after being put into bat.

Fell went in his customary number number three slot at 65-1 and was fourth out at 131 – the first of three wickets to fall at that total.

But Mount Lawley reached their target without any further loss.

In the same competition, Alex Hepburn's side, Willetton Dragons, went down by five wickets to visiting Subiaco Floreat.

Worcestershire all-rounder Hepburn did not have the chance to bat as Willetton totalled 249-3 in their 50 overs.

Their innings was built around a third wicket partnership of 161 between J Godfrey (81) and M Johnston (74 not out).

Hepburn enjoyed an early success with the ball and bowled opener S Collins for 21 – second out at 42.

He finished with 1-41 from nine overs as an unbeaten 67 from A Lilly helped Subiaco to win with four balls to spare.
