Fell Included In Rapids Squad For Royal London Cup Derby

Tom Fell has been included in the Worcestershire Rapids squad for the Royal London One-Day Cup local derby with Warwickshire at Edgbaston tomorrow (Sunday).

Fell has made a successful comeback to first team action after winning his battle against cancer with scores of 61, 10, 37 and 45 in the Specsavers County Championship matches with Leicestershire and Northamptonshire – both of which ended in victories.

Now the 22-year-old is in contention to feature in the 50 over format for the first time this season.

Fell finished as the Rapids leading scorer in the inaugral RLC campaign in 2014 with four half centuries.

Alex Hepburn has also been called up by Director Of Cricket Steve Rhodes as part of a 13 strong squad.

The all-rounder made his senior debut for Worcestershire in last season's competition, picking up six wickets in two appearances against Leicestershire and Derbyshire.

Worcestershire have collected five points from their opening four matches via wins over Yorkshire and Durham and a wash-out versus Leicestershire.
