Worcestershire Seconds were on the receiving end of a fine all-round performance by Derbyshire limited overs cricket captain West Durston as they went down by eight wickets in a Second Eleven Trophy clash at the 3aaa County Ground.
The Seconds were bowled out for 213 in 47.2 overs despite half centuries from skipper George Rhodes and Alex Hepburn with Durston returning 4-34.
Then Durston, who played in last week's NatWest T20 Blast clash at New Road, hit an unbeaten 116 as the home side reached their target in 37 overs.
Worcestershire were well placed at 145-2 after Rhodes shared in stands of 57 with Ollie Westbury and 75 with Hepburn.
But the last eight wickets went down for 68 runs.
Rhodes hit one six and six fours in his 65 off 86 balls and Hepburn one six and two fours in his 60 from 88 deliveries.
A second wicket stand of 139 in 23 overs between Durston and Scott Elstone put Derbyshire on the path to victory.
Elstone was eventually out for 62 but Durston remained unbeaten on 116 from 109 balls with two sixes and 15 fours.
Charlie Morris and Ben Twohig, who bowled his 10 overs for 42 runs, picked up one wicket apiece.
