Frustrating Weekend For Kohler-Cadmore As Penrith Run Halted By Weather

Frustrating Weekend For Kohler-Cadmore As Penrith Run Halted By Weather

Tom Kohler Cadmore's side, Penrith Panthers, saw their superb run of results frustratingly halted by the weather as the two day clash with home side Campbelltown-Camden was abandoned without a ball being bowled.

The two sides had been scheduled to meet in a Sydney Grade Cricket first grade fixture today and tomorrow.

But torrential downpours left the Raby Oval under water and with no chance of any play taking place this weekend.

Worcestershire batsman Kohler-Cadmore confirmed: "We have been rained off for both days. There have been massive thunderstorms for the last couple of days. It's frustrating."

Penrith had been aiming for a sixth successive victory after climbing to third spot in the 20 team table with seven wins from their opening 10 matches.

They went into the weekend level on points with Bankstown after reducing the gap on leaders Sydney to just six points.

The top six qualify for the knockout stages and Penrith are 12 points clear of seventh placed St. George CC.
