George Rhodes has been making his presence felt for Onslow CC in the Ewen Chatfield Trophy in New Zealand.
The Worcestershire all-rounder is second in his side’s batting averages and played a key role in their success in the 50 over competition.
Rhodes has scored 268 runs from his seven appearances to date this winter at an average of 44.67.
Only Ben Shields, with 319 runs at 45.57 from nine matches, is ahead of Rhodes with Andrew Fletcher (224) and Malcolm Nofal (170) next in the pecking order.
Rhodes has also bowled economically with the ball and has figures of 4-119 from 32.1 overs at a rate of 3.7 runs per over.
County paceman Charlie Morris has also been making his presence felt for Tuggeranong Valley in the McDonald’s ACT Premier Cricket first grade in Australia.
Morris is the joint second highest wicket-taker with 11 from nine games and has overall figures of 86.2-9-294-11 at an average of 26.73.
Floros Benji – 13 wickets at 20.33 – is the only player to have picked up more scalps.
Morris helped Tuggeranong reach the semi-finals of the 50 over John Gallop Cup competition and now they have just embarked on the two-day Douglas Cup tournament.
