Tom Graveney OBE is one of three Worcestershire batsman to feature in the top 30 of the highest scorers of all-time in first class cricket.
Graveney, who sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 88, occupies eighth position in the list.
The former England player amassed 47, 793 runs at an average of 44.91 and his tally included 122 centuries and 233 fifties.
Graveney, who skippered Worcestershire from 1968-1970, passed 2,000 runs in a season on seven occasions.
It is also worth recalling Graveney ended his Worcestershire career on a high and in his final season of 1970 scored 1,1316 runs at an average of 62.67 and finished second in the national batting averages at the age of 43.
Graeme Hick holds down 13th spot in the list with 41,112 runs at an average of 52.23.
Hick hit 136 hundreds and another 158 half centuries before retiring at the end of the 2008 campaign.
Former Worcestershire captain and the club's record run-scorer Don Kenyon lies in 26th position.
Opening batsman Kenyon scored 37,002 runs at an average of 33.63 with 74 hundreds and 180 fifties.
Just outside the top 30 is another Worcestershire legend in Glenn Turner who amassed 34,346 runs at an average of 49.70.
The New Zealand opener scored 103 centuries and 148 fifties.
The all-time leading run-scorer in first class cricket is Jack Hobbs with 61,760 runs at an average of 50.70.
