Gray-Nicolls To Supply Worcestershire Ccc

Worcestershire CCC have partnered with Gray-Nicolls, who will supply the club with match and training apparel for the coming season. The 3 year deal will also see Gray-Nicolls supply clothing to young cricketers in the county through the pathway programme, as well as replica clothing and equipment online and via a new and improved on site store.

Jon Graham, Managing Director said: “We are delighted to agree a three year deal with Gray-Nicolls. It is a coup for the club and we are really looking forward to working with them.

“We’ve made amazing strides as a club over the last few years and we should now be dealing with the likes of Gray Nicolls.

“They have been very strategic in the clubs they want to deal with and it was apparent early on that there was an appetite from both sides. They are delighted to be associated with Worcestershire and it’s fantastic for the club and perfect now we’ve got an in ground Worcestershire Supporters’ Association Club Shop, and will also continue to have an on line presence.

Graham added: “The new Worcestershire Supporters’ Association Club Shop which has been funded and will be run by the Supporters’ Association will have a heavy influence of Gray-Nicolls products and further demonstrates the flourishing partnership between them and the club.

“We will start to sell bats and pads, the products people will always expect to see when they come to a county cricket ground, wherever it is.

“It is something we haven’t delivered on in recent years but now we have a cricket brand that do absolutely everything.

Matt Rawnsley, new CEO of Worcestershire CCC said: “To have a partnership agreement with Gray-Nicolls is fantastic. Both partners are fully committed to the pursuit of excellence in all that we do. We also had input from the players on what they wanted which was a key part of the decision making process for us and we’re all delighted with the result”

Gray-Nicolls have a rich heritage in cricket and currently count upon the likes of Alastair Cook, David Warner and Kane Williamson as brand ambassadors. They also supply a number of the current crop of WCCC players – including Joe Clarke, Ed Barnard and Dillon Pennington.

Worcestershire will play in Gray-Nicolls new Pro Performance Shirt for their County Championship fixtures, with a new Rapids shirt being launched prior to the limited overs season.
