Hamish Rutherford is amongst the top five run-getters in the Royal London One-Day Cup as he prepares to make his final appearance of his current spell with Worcestershire Rapids.

The New Zealand batsman – who is 30 today – has amassed 292 runs and two centuries from just four innings in the 50 over competition and has been a massive success as the County’s early season overseas player.

His contribution has helped the Rapids into second spot in the nine-team table at the half-way stage ahead of tomorrow’s eagerly awaited home clash with local rivals Warwickshire (11am start).

Callum Ferguson is flying in today from Australia to take over the overseas player spot from Rutherford at the completion of his five game spell with Worcestershire.

Derbyshire’s Billy Godleman leads in the One-Day Cup the way with 416 runs from four knocks.
