Robbie Hardwick hit an explosive unbeaten 81 for Worcestershire CCC Under-15s in a 45 over game with Cheshire Under-15s at Barnards Green CC.
Hardwick faced only 34 balls and struck four sixes and seven fours.
Raj Sandhu (58) and Edd Bragg (35) were also amongst the runs for the Under-15s who totalled 220-7.
But Cheshire were able to knock off the runs in 43.5 overs and triumph by five wickets in totalling 221-5.
Aaron Tomson was the most successful Worcestershire bowler, returning 2-41 from his nine overs.
The Worcestershire CCC Development Of Excellence X1 (DOE) will take on Cheshire Under-14s at Rode Park and Lawton CC tomorrow (Tuesday).
Josh Dickenson of Barnards Green CC will skipper the side with Tom Cosh of Ombersley CC keeping wicket in the 50 over encounter.
