The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) today announced a new four-year deal with Mediatec to provide improved replay screens across domestic and international cricket.

In a bid to improve the match-day experience, the partnership will deliver upgraded and more environmentally friendly replay screens at all televised matches, new technology for outside broadcast facilities and a greater range of interactive options for fans.

The new deal, which will run from 2016 to 2019 covers all ECB’s Major Matches in this period plus three ICC Global events to be staged in this country: the ICC Women’s World Cup in 2017, the ICC Champions Trophy, also in 2017, and the ICC Cricket World Cup in 2019.

As part of the agreement, the 18 First Class counties and MCC will gain access to packaged highlights to share with their fans at the end of each TV match and fans will also benefit from High Definition upgrades to on-site facilities.

ECB’s Director of Events, Steve Elworthy, said: “It gives me great pleasure to have Mediatec on board for the next four years and we look forward to working closely with the company across our international and domestic programme.
