We are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking Business Development Manager with a proven record of success, to promote and generate incremental revenue for Worcestershire County Cricket Club.

Contract Type: Full Time / Permanent
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Generating new business income for Worcestershire County Cricket Club through various revenue streams. With particular focus on, but not limited to; improving conferencing and events opportunities, commercial partnerships, sponsorship and premium membership packages.
Creating revenue opportunities by utilising the assets of WCCC and Blackfinch New Road.
Visits to existing and potential clients, taking ownership of the sales cycle from lead generation, through negotiation to close.
Working closely alongside the CEO, Marketing Manager, Ticket & Membership Manager and Events Sales Manager to create plans for future growth and execute them.
Developing relationships with current stakeholders and identify areas to grow the relationship between all parties.
Working very closely with the CEO, defining plans for growth and reporting regularly on progress.
Experience of working in a fast-moving sales environment. Experience in drafting commercial partnerships, building sales strategies for B2B and B2C is highly desirable. Experience within membership organisations is preferable, but not essential.
Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a high standard of verbal and written communication.
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
A full valid UK driving licence.
Must be positive, engaging and enthusiastic and committed to customer service excellence. Presenting a professional image of WCCC is paramount.
