Tom Kohler-Cadmore helped Penrith Panthers through to the semi-finals of the Sydney Grade Cricket first grade Limited Overs Cup today.
The Worcestershire player impressed with the ball as Penrith overcame home side Blacktown by three wickets with two balls to spare at the Joe McAleer Oval in one of the four qualifying finals.
Penrith will now travel to play Bankstown in the last four clash on February 7.
Blacktown chose to bat after winning the toss and totalled a challenging 274-8 in their 50 overs.
Kohler-Cadmore made the first break and ended an opening stand of 129 when he bowled S. Keen for 77.
He later dismissed keeper T.Doonan for 12 and finished with fine figures of 2-32 from nine overs.
Kohler-Cadmore was also responsible for running out J. Panesar for 28.
He then opened the batting for Penrith and made 11 off 30 balls with one boundary before being second out with the total on 67.
But an unbeaten 104 from J. Sammut – off 112 balls with six fours – was largely responsible for Penrith reaching 275-7 after 49.4 overs.
He shared a third wicket stand of 116 with T. Cummins (60) after Penrith had been wobbling at 77-3.
Kohler-Cadmore and Penrith endured a wash-out on the opening day of the two-day Sydney Grade Cricket first grade match with Fairfield-Liverpool yesterday. The second day is scheduled for January 23.
